Mrs Huang's Top Reads

This is where I vent and praise the books I've been reading. Some I've loved, laughed and cried at. Others have been deadly dull or poorly written, although I normally don't bother writing about those...

Recommendations for my booklist?

My pile of books at home is getting a little low. Do you have some suggestions to add to the list? They don't have to be fantasy or young adult fiction (although that's the phase I've been going through). What are your favourite books at the moment?

Thanks in anticipation!

There are plenty! Hmm, let's see:
    Stargirl - Jerry Spinelli
The Tomorrow saga - John Marsden
Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters - Ben H. Winters
Lord of the Flies - William Golding
The Hunger Games series (yay Mackingjay!) - Suzane Collins

    My favourite books =)

I loved the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden - these were actually the first books I bought for myself when I was young! The movie version looks set to ruin it though...

I've read Eggs by Jerry Spinelli but didn't really get into it. Similarly for Lord of the Flies - Piggy's head-smashing incident didn't make me want to read on.

I must post about Mockingjay! What a book! Hurrah for the Hunger Games!
